|Description:||The Senior Factoring Business Development Officer supports the Factoring Departments mission through effective service and communication, targeted business development efforts, teamwork, and community involvement. Responsible for managing Business Development Officers, and building relationships with internal Business and Commercial Banking Officers, electronically, through the factoring website and, externally, through referral sources in accordance with the Banks core values. The goal after 12 months is to significantly help grow the factoring portfolio, consistent with team objectives, through multiple marketing channels, resulting in new client fundings.|
|Duties:|| Manage Business Development Officers.|
Develop relationships with various referrals sources.
Periodic review of existing factoring arrangements for compliance.
Assist in factoring closings.
Perform factoring reviews as well as assist with renewals when circumstances dictate.
Negotiate, close and monitor proper factoring structures.
Accept special projects in support of the factoring team and community involvement.
Develop new business through identified marketing channels.
Assist the Group Manager in daily portfolio maintenance and review.
Review factoring documents for new factorings and modifications.
Assist Group Manager with marketing and sales ongoing/new projects.
Assist Group Manager with website and on-going electronic media.
Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent work experience, preferred.
Financial Sales experience preferred.
Prior experience with relationship management/development portfolio preferred.
Must have good communication skills (both written and verbal).
Must be willing to work after-hours.
Must be willing to travel.
Must be able to interface with users/customers.
